A new business jet is ready to take the spotlight in Microsoft Flight Simulator. FlySimWare has rolled out a delightful holiday surprise with the debut of the Learjet 35A’s Early Access in Microsoft Flight Simulator. This launch brings us a meticulously crafted and true-to-life simulation of the beloved classic business jet from a development team that has earned a distinguished reputation with the Cessna 414 Chancellor.

According to Flysimware, the development of the Learjet 35A involved extensive testing over six weeks by two certified Learjet 35 pilots and a former Learjet 35 instructor. This rigorous process should ensure the aircraft’s flightworthiness and fidelity to real-world operations.

The Learjet 35A, known for its robust performance, is powered by two Garrett TFE731-2 turbofan engines. It can accommodate 6-8 passengers and has a range of 2,789 nautical miles. It’s actually an aircraft that Flysimware has previously brought to the flight simulation community in P3D, and is now aiming to meticulously recreate with the modern MSFS engine.

The early access version includes multiple liveries and detailed textures, with additional system features planned for the final release. The simulation incorporates various GPS integrations, such as the GNS 530, PMS50 GTN 750, and TDS GTN 750, enhancing the navigational capabilities of the aircraft. The feature list, as of now, is very limited – this is very much an ongoing project that will certainly grow in scope as time goes by.

As with every previous early access, Flysimware is actively involving the community in the development of this project, encouraging users to share their feedback and to join their Discord for support and discussions.

FlySimWare’s approach to releasing early access versions of their aircraft is not a new strategy for the developer. They have previously employed this method with great success for other aircraft, such as the Cessna 414 Chancellor and the Grumman G-44A Widgeon.

The Flysimware Learjet 35A Early Access is now available directly from the developer’s website, priced at $39.99.
